About Me

Hi there, readers! I'm glad you found my blog...there are only about hundred bazillion out there!  It's taken me a long time to really commit to blogging, and that's because I don't know that this blog really fits under one category.


My name is Amanda. I am a newlywed that loves so many things in this world and wants to make the most out of every single day we're graciously given on this beautiful planet.  I love my husband and I love family - I'll blog about the fun things we do together as well as the boring things we do together (like test out new litter boxes and litter that don't bother his nose!).  I love traveling (especially with my hubby) and getting lost in remote places that only our truck can take us.  I love to cook, I love to craft, I love to spend entire mornings messing around on Pinterest, and I love to try new things.

I also adore my job - I am a high school English teacher, and I will blog A LOT about that.   From organizing my classroom to lessons gone awry, I hope to share the trials and triumphs of my career with you as I work my way through a sea of Common Core madness!
